Richard Laurence Tempest

Richard Laurence Tempest, 55, passed away on March 30, 2025, as he was traveling from Fort Worth, TX back home to Centennial, CO.
Richard was born on December 1, 1969, in the Philippines to Laurence and Sara Tempest. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend. He enjoyed his years of work with information technology, most recently with NASDAQ. His hobbies included board games, cards, PC gaming, woodworking, and barbecuing. He had endless love for his family, his dogs and one angry cat.
Richard is survived by his Wife, Ali Tempest, Mother, Sara "Penny" Tempest, Sister, Terri Scott (Bob), children, Jason Tempest, Matthew Tempest (Krystal), Stefan Alexander, Austin Alexander (Sophie), Daniel Tempest, Anna Helsham (Jake), Jayme Bierer (Nick), and Sara Nimmo, grandchildren, Henry, Athena, Dyllin, Sadie, D.J., Serenity, Jeremiah, Aniyah, Elijah, and Ezra. He is also survived by many bonus children, coworkers, and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Tempest.

A viewing service will be held at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Home at 10470 S Progress Way, Parker, CO 80134 on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, from 5pm-7pm.
