Martha Tempest Obituary
Martha Elisabeth Tempest, age 85, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.
Martha will be greatly missed by her son, Michael G. Tempest, son, Robert J Tempest, daughter, Betsie Simmons, and grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Marshall, and Shelby.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson Tempest, parents Robert Tinkler and Elisabeth Tinkler, and brother, Hunter.
Martha grew up in Orlando and graduated from Bishop Moor Catholic High School. She attained her BS in Education and met her husband at the University of Miami. Martha was a founding member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She spent many years as an educator in both Seminole and Orange County Schools.
Private Services will be held by the family.
Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
