Born in Greenville, SC, Phoenix was the son of Erik Lee Tempest and the late Karen Ann Fortin Tempest. Phoenix brought joy and adventure to everyone he met, whether behind the screen as a Dungeon Master, orchestrating tales and quests, or at conventions in meticulously crafted cosplay, Phoenix had a gift at being a Games Master. Phoenix attended Welcome Wesleyan Church in Seneca, SC.
In addition to his father, Phoenix is survived by his brothers: Raiden Blade Tempest and Stryder Gideon Tempest both of West Union, SC; and fiancé: Elizabeth Wilson.
Phoenix was preceded in death by his mother: Karen Ann Fortin Tempest.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Welcome Wesleyan Church, 1040 Ebenezer Road, Seneca, SC 29672.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Let There Be Mom.org".
The family is at their respective homes.
