Richard "Mitch" Vandal, age 63, a resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
Born in Lowell, on December 17, 1961, he was a son of Janet (Blanchette)(Vandal) Hebert of Lowell and the late Richard A. Vandal.
Mitch enjoyed camping, spending time with friends and having a good time.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a masonry contractor in the Greater Lowell area for many years.
Surviving him in addition to his mother are two brothers, John Vandal and Joe Shea; a sister-in-law, Kathy Vandal; two nieces, Cristin Vandal and Stephanie Gibbons; and his longtime best friend, Mark Gauthier.
A celebration of Mitch's Life will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. A prayer service will conclude the service at 1 p.m.
