Richard Charles Vanduzer

Richard Charles VanDuzer, age 85 of LaBelle, Florida entered Heaven on April 10, 2023 in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Richard was born on April 9, 1938, in New York City, New York to the late Howard and the late Lillian A. Doran VanDuzer. Richard proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Navy obtaining the rank of Master Chief, then after he retired from the Navy, he served another 20 years with the United States Postal Service as a letter sorter. He married Josephine Mae Keller on May 28, 2006, in the old Flora and Ella's Restaurant building on Highway 80. Richard was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion. He and Josephine attended the LaBelle Revival Center for many years. He would also help with any repairs or activities that were held at the church. He was a loving and caring man who will be dearly missed by his entire family and church friends.
Richard leaves fond memories with his loving wife; Josephine Van Duzer, his son; Thomas VanDuzer, daughters; Roberta Rosario and Linda Haas, ten adorable grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Celebration of Richard's life will be held at 11:00 am May 13, 2023, at his Church. In lieu of flowers, the family have suggested donations be made to the LaBelle Revival Center located at 3078 COUNTRY ROAD 78, La Belle, Florida 33935.
