Richard Velasquez Obituary

Richard, lovingly known as "Popz," was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his sons Shawn (Kristin) and Nicholas (Christina), his daughters Angela and Neilie, his former wife LueAnn, brother Charles, sister Nora as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward with love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Angela, daughter Shilite, and grandson Nicko.
Popz will be remembered for his strength, humor, and the unconditional love he showed to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched.
To honor Richard's life, a visitation will be held on August 30, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with service to follow at 2:00 pm.
