Deej... I forgot to add... Some of the most interesting life stories are lived by people with insurmountable passion. You were one of them. Your passion dictated the direction of your life, no matter what that was ... and you followed it. ALWAYS. LIVE don´t just exist, right? Too many people get complacent and forget to live. I´ll NEVER forget your Infectious smile that captured so many people´s hearts... but especially mine! You thrived best on your metaphorical stage whether you were singing, writing, teaching, mentoring, speaking or docenting... where you made people laugh, reflect and relate. I truly hope you finally find the peace your soul deserves without the confusion of life´s chaos. May we meet again in another life time and we will get it right this time.

Deej, you will always be remembered as one of the most brilliant, engaging & witty people that Maite & I were fortunate to know- someone who connected with everyone, regardless of age and gave so generously of himself in every interaction.
With each conversation, you left us more informed, a little wiser or in stitches with laughter. Who else could belt out a `Doors´ karaoke song and moments later captivate us with stories of his uncle´s WWII experience in a Belgium Forest, or a tale from F. Scott Fitzgerald story.
We will carry a Deej story in our hearts, as a lasting reminder of the love, laughter, and history that you shared with all. You will be deeply missed.
RIP my friend.

I´m so sorry to hear about Deej Webb´s death. He was a real "Westport treasure" and his antique house on Long Lots Road was painted in some of my dad´s watercolors so we connected. A lovely man!

Sometimes you meet someone in your lifetime who moves your heart and soul in a way that is inexplicable... a palpable pull... an invincible string... a gravitational orbit... a life force that supersedes earthly understanding... and so it is... so it grows... and so it eternally exists despite realities´ counter voices and life´s conflicting truths, ... I will forever miss and deeply love and sky you Richard Nevin Webb Jr. I always did. Do. I Always will ... meet me in the Field. 12/21/2025.
