Richard "Dick" T. Widelski, 87, of County Line Road, Chateaugay passed away on December 4, 2025 at his home.

Born on November 9, 1938 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Stanley and Mary (Polakiewicz) Widelski.

Dick served in the United States Army starting in January 1959 and was honorably discharged in December 1964. He worked for Eastern AI for over 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. Dick was a lover of good food, which he proceeded to share with his children. He enjoyed visiting local restaurants in the North Country. Besides his wife, Dick was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Florence Zachowicz and Stanley Widelski; two nephews, John and Thomas Zachowicz.

Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay on Thursday, Dec 11 at 11 a.m.
