Victor Widelski Obituary

Victor Widelski, age 74, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025.

He was born on April 20, 1951, in Gary, Indiana, to Victor and Blanche Widelski, who have both preceded him in death. On Feb. 3, 1973, he married Nancy Russ in Michigan City, Indiana.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Christian) Siewert and Jeff (Eliza) Widelski; grandchildren, Finn, Lieve and Rafe Siewert and Louie Widelski; brother, Richard Widelski; and niece, Michelle (Heather Drake) Widelski. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome, Donald and Lawrence Widelski.

He was a longtime member of the Michigan City Moose Lodge and St. Joseph Club. He was also an avid RAD e-bike rider, frequently seen riding all over town and Beverly Shores.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to: The American Heart Association.
