Richard Widmaier Obituary

Richard H. Widmaier, 86, formerly of Gibsonia, Richland Township, passed away Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025, at Kadima of Cheswick.
Born in Pittsburgh on March 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Harry William and Helen Gasparina Widmaier.
He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Mars VFW Post 7505.
Richard was a right of way agent for Duquesne Light, working there for 36 years.
He was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church.
Surviving are his daughters, Caroline Widmaier of Cantonment, Fla., and Kimberly Miller (Bill) of Gibsonia; and his sons, Mark Widmaier (Stephanie) of Jefferson, Md., and Daniel Widmaier of Rimersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Majireck Widmaier, whom he married May 19, 1965, and who died July 31, 2014; a granddaughter, Audrey Widmaier; and his sisters, June Gmuer and Lynda Huffman.
WIDMAIER - A private viewing was held for the family of Richard H. Widmaier, who died Tuesday, June 3, 2025. There will be no service.
Burial was in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township.
Memorials in his memory may be made to the Jewish Missions at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars, PA 16046.
Arrangements were under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
