Richard John Williams, Sr./"Dick", 81 year-old proud Marine and retiree from Fisher Body of 34 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and caring friends. He will be forever missed for his sense of humor, gentle heart, twinkling Irish eyes, and contagious smile. Dick is survived by his utmost caring wife V. Lee/"Tiny" and two children Lisa and Rick (Teresa). He is also survived by five grandsons: Matthew (Molly), Michael, Nathan, Noah, Nicholas and one great grandson, Theodore. Dick was predeceased by his parents, John and Helen, eleven older siblings, and granddaughter Marisa Lee. Dick loved nothing more than spending time with Tiny, family, and friends. He enjoyed eating out, taking rides and getting ice cream, watering flowers and maintaining his park-
like yard, and watching movies. Dick rarely missed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Notre Dame football and Xavier University, Villanova University and University of Cincinnati basketball. A heartfelt thank you to dad's dedicated care team at Hospice of Cincinnati for their compassionate care and support during his illness.
Visitation will be from 8:30 – 10:00 AM at Neidhard - Minges Funeral Home (3155 Harrison Avenue) on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
