Richard was born on July 21, 1937 at Lansing, WV to Willie Clarence Wood and Nannie Laura Miller Wood.
Those who preceded him in death are a daughter Kimberly M. Wood, a grandson, Eric Allen Orozco. He was preceded also by sisters; Nancy Mellich and Muriel Morricle; brothers, Alfred, Virgil, and Steve. His mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Levada Neal Hall and brother and sister-in-law Roger and Betty Duffin, Buzz Hall, Ron Hall and Thomas Bickford.
He is survived by his wife Annabelle Hall Wood, great- grandson, Nate J. Orozco, brothers; Paul (Elaine) Wood and
Marshall (Sena) Wood; sisters; Wanda Pinkelton, Rebecca Stevens and Debbie Mellich. Brother and sister-in -law, Tracy Hall and Sandra Gazco.
"Rick" was a truck driver and distributed many food products.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025
at 2:00 P.M. at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
