Richard F. Worm

Richard F. Worm, "Rich", age 79, of Shakopee, MN, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Shakopee.
Rich was born in Shakopee, on July 16, 1945, the son of Francis "Frank" and Rosella (Haerden) Worm. He was raised on the farm in Chaska, MN, near the existing Fleetfarm. Rich attended grade school and high school at Guardian Angels. He went on to school for drafting. Rich enjoyed hosting several high school exchange students.
Rich married Jan Lallak (Raines) on August 14, 1999, at Church of St. Mary in Shakopee. Rich enjoyed nature, animals (especially his dog, Max), cars and woodworking. A man of faith, he was a member of Church of St. Mary in Shakopee, and spent many years praying in the Adoration Chapel. He loved his time spent with Jan, kids, grandkids and family.
Survivors include his wife, Jan; step-children, Tracy Caspian and David Lallak; granddaughters, Jamie Lallak and Angela (Dan) Tupy; great-grandson, Sam Lallak; siblings, Gerald (Doris), Theresa (Ken) Fahey, Arthur (Kathy), and Sister Rita Worm. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Kristin Lallak; siblings, Robert (Laura) and Alice (Gordon) Wickenhauser.
Visitation Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4-7 PM, at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee. Visitation also on Wednesday, April 16, from 10-11 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, both at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, 15850 Marystown Road, Shakopee. Interment Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery, Chaska, MN.
