It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Dale Zepf, a loving son, brother, and friend, who left us on August 25, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 10, 1971, Rick lived a life full of warmth and compassion, touching the hearts of many in his community.
Rick was a dedicated professional in the insurance industry, spending his career in billing at GE Credit. He held an associate's degree and was known for his commitment to his work and to those around him. Beyond his professional life, Rick found joy in the simple things-he had a deep love for cats, especially his faithful companion, Fluff. He took great pleasure in feeding and caring for the neighborhood cats, proving his gentle spirit and kind heart.
Family was everything to Rick. He cherished time spent with his mother, Gail; father, Ralph; and his siblings-Brenda Fugate, Ralph Zepf, Bridgett Meyer, and Vicki Martin. Together, they created many cherished memories, especially during family gatherings and warm days at the beaches of Florida. Rick's love for his family was evident in all he did.
As a dedicated Catholic, Rick held strong in his faith and found comfort in his love for the Lord. His devotion was an anchor for him, guiding his life and the way he connected with others.
Family will hold private services.
Richard Dale Zepf will be deeply missed, but his memories will forever remain in our hearts. In honor of Rick's love for cats, we encourage, if inclined, to make donations to local animal shelters in his name. May he rest in peace..
