Rick L. Barnhart, 77, of Fair Grove, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on July 25, 1947, in Springfield to Ralph and Wilma (DeHaven) Barnhart, Rick remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped his life.

A proud graduate of Fair Grove High School in Fair Grove, Missouri, Rick went on to build a successful career as a master electrician. He was the founder and owner of Rick's Electric, LLC, where he combined technical expertise with a strong work ethic to serve clients throughout the region. His dedication to his craft and his reputation for integrity earned him the respect of both colleagues and customers alike.

Rick's life was marked by devotion-to his family, his faith, and his passions. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie (Kimble) Barnhart; Kelly and Zenna Barnhart; Jim and Sherry Hill; Michelle Draper; Mark Barnhart; and Shelby Hill. His parents, Ralph and Wilma Barnhart, precede him in passing.

Outside of work, Rick found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. He was an avid coon hunter who cherished time spent outdoors. Family dinners were a treasured tradition where stories were shared and bonds strengthened. He also enjoyed attending horse shows and spending time at the local coffee shop catching up with friends.

Rick's faith played a central role throughout his life. He was an active member of his church community where he served as a deacon. His involvement extended to mentoring young people through the Royal Rangers program and participating in campouts that fostered fellowship and spiritual growth.

A family-directed Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Landmark Church, 200 S. Peach Lane, Strafford, MO. *Please deliver directly to the church any flowers or memorials in Rick's memory for this service.

Care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. - DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.
