Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region, age 73. Rick was born March 2, 1948 in Bay City to the late Chester A. and Florence F. (Libera) Brozewski. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969. He married the love of his life Jeanne A. Kontranowski in St. Hyacinth Church on June 26, 1971 and she survives him. Rick was a licensed contractor, own and operating Rick's Remodeling until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf three days a week at White Birch with his buddies and loved spending time with his grandsons talking about golf and sharing memories together. Rick was a member of St. George Society and at one time the Pulaski Club. He will forever be loved and missed by his family, not only for his kind loving heart but also for his comical side and love for Gummy Bears candy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jeanne, one daughter Dawn (Jeff) Bowman, two grandsons, Jordan and Brady who meant the world to Rick, one brother Jack Brozewski, one sister Lynn (John) Santoviz, one sister-in-law Carol Brozewski, in-laws, Marian Kontranowski and Larry (Bernadette) Kontranowski, many nieces and nephews. Rick was predeceased by his parents Chester and Florence, a special brother and comrade Gary Brozewski, a brother Alan Brozewski, father and mother-in-law, Roman and Alice Kontranowski and a brother-in-law James Kontranowski.
Military Honors, under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Color Guard and U.S. Marine Corps will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Ambrose Funeral Home at 5:00 PM, followed immediately by the Funeral Service for Rick. Officiating will be Sue Roznowski. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM.
