Rick E. Conrad, a devoted father, loving family man, and hardworking provider, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at the age of 70, with loved ones by his side.
Born on July 16, 1955 in New Market, IN, Rick lived a life defined by dedication, integrity, and selflessness. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to providing for his family. He never sought recognition, but his actions spoke louder than words. He showed his love through sacrifice, dependability, and always putting others before himself.
Above all else, Rick was a proud and loving father. His family was his greatest joy and purpose. He was a protector, a role model, and a constant source of strength and guidance. His presence made those around him feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.
Rick Conrad is survived by his children, Shelby Ann Conrad, Shad Richard Conrad (Allie Davis); and grandchildren, Ava Sue Conrad, Jaxon Keith Lobmier, Lyla Johnson and Beckett Wesley Hyde; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn "Susie" (Page) Conrad; father, Richard Conrad; mother, Edna Conrad; and brother, Dale Conrad.
Though his passing was unexpected, the impact of his life will never be forgotten. His values, love, and lessons will live on through everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm with a service to follow. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Crawfordsville, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved Susie.
