Rick Decker Obituary
Born Tuesday, October 13, 1953 in Morris County, New Jersey the son of the late Robert Wesley, and Lorraine M. (Leach) Decker. Rick was also predeceased by; sister Donna Decker; brother, Robert Decker, Jr.
Surviving are; his wife of 15 years, Ann M. (Romanchik) Decker of Lehighton; sons, Jeffrey F. Decker and his wife Leah of Stroudsburg, Rick D. Decker Jr. and his companion Lisa Hart of Tannersville; daughters, Donna Yates wife of Jimmy of Lima, OH, Tracy Strunk wife of Jason of Lancaster; brother, Matthew Decker of Phoenix, AZ; 6 grand children.
A graduate of Boonton High School, Rick was simply a "Trucker". In high school his mother said he set his desk up as a Big Rig, he drove all his life, and in retirement Rick began restoring all types of trucks from Kenworth's to whatever came his way, and his free time Rick and Ann went to truck shows.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening May 20, 2022 at 7 o'clock PM from the funeral home. Friends may visit from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

I am terribly sorry to read this. I had chatted with Rick earlier in the year as I live in his childhood home in Lincoln Park. He was quite kind telling me stories and how things came to be in the house. I was hoping on his next trip to LP he could stop by. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I only just realized now.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Rick´s passing. He was a great guy. We had many wonderful times together in grammar and high school. My deepest and sincerest condolences to his family. He will be sadly missed.

Rick and I met sleigh riding in 3rd grade, was a great guy, my sincere condolences. He did always love trucks. Will always be remembered with love.
