Rickey Lynn McKee left this world on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 in Gladewater Texas. Rick was born on August 29th, 1953. He was known for his pickup truck with Rodeo plates and his cowboy hat. He was a true cowboy. He loved his kids, but his Grandsons were the light of his life. He loved being their Pop.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Sybil McKee, sister Loveta Marks and wife Sindy McKee.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Carl and Taylor Gearhart of Longview, Amy and CJ Whitehorn of Pritchett. His grandsons, Jacob, Jonah and Jaxon of Oklahoma, Cash of Tyler, Declan of Pritchett and Carl and Connor of Longview. Lifelong friends, Don Smith, Kevin Desain and Joey Word.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15th at 1 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater Texas.
It was a good ride, Cowboy. You will be missed.
