Rick Wise, born on January 25, 1951, in Abilene, Texas, he lived a life full of laughter, kindness, and unforgettable stories. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of joy, generosity, and unapologetic authenticity.
Rick had a rare gift for making people laugh, whether through a perfectly timed joke, a well-told story, or simply his larger-than-life personality. He loved helping others, always offering a hand to those in need without hesitation. His passion for antiques reflected his appreciation for the past, and he had a knack for seeing the beauty in things that others might overlook. Rick was a proud Texan, and loved anything displaying the Texas flag, as well as having a deep appreciation of the influential music of The Beatles.
Above all, Rick was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Teresa. Rick leaves behind his son, Brad of Abingdon, Maryland; daughter, Gina and husband, Matthew of Marlow, Oklahoma; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Ryan of Frisco, Texas; and daughter, Jacquelyn and husband, Taylor. Rick also has 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Rick Wise lived life on his own terms, never afraid to be himself. He leaves behind a world that was brighter because he was in it, and those who knew him will carry his laughter and love in their hearts forever.
Rest easy, Rick—your stories will live on.
