Ricky Royal Davis

Ricky Royal Davis, age 67 of LaBelle, MO passed away October 6, 2025, in St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born February 25, 1958, in Adair County, MO the son of Garland Royal and Barbara Ann Norton Davis.

Ricky attended schools at Highland High School in Lewis County, MO. He was employed with family in construction and also worked for the City of LaBelle and Knox County Road and Bridge plus a farm hand for several farmers. He also raised calves and dogs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Knox City Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, JR Davis of Edina, MO and Rickey Davis of Silex, MO, one brother Richard Eugene (Amy) Davis of Edina, MO, a sister-in-law Denise Davis of Revere, MO, and uncle J.V. (Joyce) Norton and several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Jerry Ray Davis, Mickey Gene Davis and Clifford Lee Davis.

Ricky will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25th in the Knox City Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and services will start at 2 p.m.

Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery.
