Ricky Harrell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vining Ivy Hill Chapel - Eatonton on Jan. 28, 2026.
Ricky Harrell, 63, of Pace, Florida; went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Ricky was born on October 24, 1962, in Milledgeville, Georgia; to Myrna Harrell and the late James Harrell. Ricky's devotion and love for Jesus guided everything he did in life. He was employed by Publix and loved working and interacting with all the people with whom he had contact. Ricky never met a stranger. He also loved traveling to different Veteran Administration facilities with his wife where they got the opportunity to meet and talk to all the different veterans. Ricky will be remembered for his strong faith and his compassion and love for all people.

Ricky is lovingly survived by his wife, Lynn Harrell; his mother, Myrna Harrell; his sisters, Renee Hurnyak (John) and Tonya Bisel (Jerry); nephews, D'Andre Dismuke, Zachery Davis (Hannah), Brandon Hurnyak and Adam Hurnyak; nieces, Holly Bayless,

Brittany Hurnyak (Ryan Cummins) and Kelsey Williams (Terance); aunt, Charlene Lott and uncle, Dale Harrell. Ricky was preceded in death by his dad James Harrell, and both paternal and maternal grandparents. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend whose life was a blessing to all who knew him. He was deeply cherished by his family, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Though he is no longer with us in body, we take comfort in knowing that Ricky now rests in God's eternal peace. His legacy of love, faith and family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him.

A visitation with family will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026; from 5-7pm at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at the chapel on Friday, January 30, 2026; at 1:00 pm. With burial to follow at Eatonton Memorial Park.
