Ricky Ray Rummage, age 71 of Wallace, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at his residence.
Ricky was born August 5, 1952, in Moore County, North Carolina. He was a son of the late Johnny Ray and Dorothy Robbins Rummage. Ricky was self employed as an instrumentation specialist until his retirement. Ricky had a variety of interests. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ricky also enjoyed music and playing guitar. He also enjoyed tinkering with his CB radio. Drag racing was probably what Ricky enjoyed the most. Ricky loved spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Ray Rummage and Beverly Ables.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Betty Burnette Rummage of the home; a son, Wyatt Rummage (Jena) of Bennettsville; a daughter, Amy Driggers of Wallace; a brother, Daryl Rummage (Vickie) of Bennettsville; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of Ricky, there will be no services held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude's Place Memphis, TN 38105.
