Ricky Lynn Shepherd, 70, of Sanford passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 11, 2025 at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home at 2pm.
Mr. Shepherd was born in Richmond VA to the late Robey Muncie Shepherd and Lola Margaret Hough. Mr. Shepherd loved to bowl, travel, play board games and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a dedicated partner with Hagee Ministries in Texas. He was a master carpenter and a mentor to many, who loved creating beautiful furniture. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Linda Sue Jefferies; and niece Lisa Freeman.
He is survived by his fiancé of 29 years Grace “Judi” Bowser; sons Todd Bowser (Jenny); Ryan Bowser (Cynthia); and Mikey Bowser (Jen); stepchildren Ina Patterson, Dorothy Rutherford, Wendy Huber and Mark Rourk; grandchildren Marshall Bowser, Courtney Bowser, Cody Bowser, Calvin Bowser, Ryder Bowser, Julie Bowser, and Bella Bowser; sister Betty Loraine Wean; sister-in-law Linda Campbell; many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat Tiki.
