Ricky E. Walburn, 65, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born June 29, 1960 in Danville he was the son of the late Howard L. "Sam", Sr. and Mary A. (Hill) Walburn.

Ricky was a graduate of Warrior Run High School. He worked for Yoder Builders in Turbotville for over 25 years and most recently for YBC in Williamsport. Ricky was a member of the VFW Post 8206 in Turbotville and the Watsontown American Legion Post 323.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to watch Dale Earnhardt. Ricky never sat still, constantly staying busy and loved to work. He enjoyed shooting pool, going camping, and always enjoyed relaxing with a nice can of Busch.

He is survived by his four children: Tessa E. Golder and her husband Justin, of York, Justin E. Walburn and his wife Angie, of Turbotville, Derek W. Walburn, of Montgomery, and Shani E. Walburn, of Watsontown; nine grandchildren: Collin, Tyler, Oliver, Samuel, Theo Walburn, Briella O'Donnell, Asher Miller, Lennox, and Reese Golder; three sisters: Shirley K. Herriman, Brenda L. (Randy) Nicholas, and Tina (Ken) Meixel; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard L. Walburn Jr.

There will be a life celebration held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St, Turbotville.
