Ricky Allen Wilcox, 64, of Interlachen, Florida, passed away peacefully and surrounded by those he loved on March 29, 2025.
Ricky was born in Davenport, Iowa on June 25, 1960 to Richard Keith Wilcox (deceased) and Karon Oma Wilcox. The family moved to Florida when he was only 14 and he spent most of his life on the world's most famous beach. In 2010 he moved to Tennessee where he was able to live out his mountain man dreams, but returned back to Florida in 2022 to help care for his mom and to be closer to family.
Ricky graduated from the Advanced Technology College in Daytona Beach and spent his years perfecting his craft and becoming a knowledgeable and well respected man in his field, both in Florida and Tennessee.
In his younger years people would call him a jokester and a bit of a daredevil. His age and knees calmed him down but he always kept that funny and fearless spirit and tried to instill it in others. He enjoyed boating, fishing, ATV riding with family and friends, building scary but fun contraptions, cars (fixing and driving them), cooking, music, and above all else spending time with his grandkids.
Ricky was rough around the edges but you wanted a person like him in your life. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, no matter who you were. If you needed something fixed, he was the one to call. If you needed a laugh, he had a joke. When he loved, he loved hard.
Ricky is survived by his mother (Karon), his wife (Carole), his two siblings (Debbie and Tim) his daughter (Amanda), his 4 bonus daughters (Tiffany, Steffany, Brandi and Kalee), and his cherished grandchildren (Jaiden, David, Josh, Carma, Ana, Ivy Mae, Christian, and Wynter).
