Rickye Jr. attended Lyndon B. Johnson High school where he graduated in May 2021. Rickye Jr. was known for his infectious smile and gentle spirit. Every person he encountered was a friend, he never met a stranger and always saw the good in people. Rickye loved sports, lifting weights, and hanging with family and friends. A true Mama's boy, he spared no love and affection towards his mother. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Vikki Elaine Harris and Paternal Grandparents, Rickye Henderson and Joyce Carter-Henderson.
He leaves behind to mourn his loss and celebrate his life, his mother Marian Allen (Justin Allen), his father Rickye Henderson Sr; six siblings Vikki Butler, Eric Gant, Crystal Carathers, Dimanique Henderson, AntioneWest, Justin Allen Jr, two loving Grandfathers: Raydel Harris and Edwin Goff, three Aunts: Nikki Freeman, Karian Bowles and Ursula Henderson, three Uncles: Keith Carter, Russell Carter, and Eric Overton. and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

To know Rickye is to love Rickye. He had a unique personality that could light up an entire room. I´ve had the privilege of having Rickye in my Middle school and some High school classes before he moved to LBJ. Rickye and I shared an immense amount of memories but something that will forever be imbedded in my heart, will be the car rides to Zilker park just to watch the Austin skyline - My prayers go out to his entire family
