It is with a heavy heart we share that we have lost our beloved son, brother, father, and friend, Rigoberto (Rigo). Uniquely Rigo until the end, the world lost a vibrant color in its crayon box, while the afterlife received a very boisterous angel. He loved deeply and found common ground and made connections with everyone he came across. Whether you were a new friend or an old one, he had so much to tell you about anything and everything – he would always make sure you heard it a second time. The kind of person that would genuinely give you the shirt off his back. The world lost a bright light with his passing.
Rigo loved his family and friends the most, he could be hard to handle at times but still had so much love that he was happy to give. He loved being outdoors – whether it was camping, hunting, shooting, fishing or golfing. Rigo was a foodie, he loved good food and to share it over a conversation with anyone willing to go eat. He enjoyed learning new things and then teaching to whoever would listen. It didn't matter if it was hanging out on the porch with you or going to Lowrider shows with friends, he loved to go where his people were at and where he could bring the party. Rigo had one of the biggest hearts on this planet and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Rigo was born in Sandy, Utah on January 8, 1986, as the third of six siblings. He's survived by his mother, Mary Ann Martinez-Sendejas, and father, Rigoberto Magaña Sendejas; his two beautiful daughters Sienna and Aleiah; sister, Vanessa Sendejas; brothers: Elias Martinez, Julian Sendejas (Yu Li), Antonio Valdez (Maria) and Nicholas Lanzalaca; his many nieces and nephews; and his godson. He's preceded in life by his Paternal Grandparents, Jose and Chole Sendejas; and Maternal Grandparents, Elias "Lee" Cruz and Maria De La Luz "Lucy" Martinez.
