Rita spent many working years in the clerical department at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and was a member of the Shining Light Apostolic Ministry in Buffalo, NY.
Rita is predeceased by her sisters Cheryl Steele and Anita Yount , and leaves behind her sister, Karen Dickey Vogt of Irving, NY.
The memorial service for Rita will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Christian Community Church of Dewittville, 5446 E Lake Road, Dewittville, NY 14728. Rita's beloved pastor of Buffalo, Roshelle Deas-Roberson, will officiate. Burial will be in Dewittville Cemetery.
