Rita Mae Gesick (Gustin) 78, Of Mesquite, NV passed away June 6, 2024. She was born February 26, 1946 in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Oscar William and Elnor Mary (Greenlee) Gustin.
Rita moved around a lot as a child. In 1958 the family moved to Colorado. They settled in the Greeley/Garden City area. In 1963 she met the love of the life Richard Gesick. They dated for a year. Then on June 26, 1964 they were joined in marriage at the four-square church in Eaton, Co.
Rita worked for Monfort, UNC, and Safeway plus many other jobs. In 1990, Moved to Riverton, WY then in 2014, moved to Mesquite NV, Retired in 2015.
Rita loved to play Bingo, spending time with family & friends. Met several people thru the years including one special friend LaVonne.
Survivors Include her husband Richard; two daughters Jeanette (David) Ladenburger of Ault CO, LaDon Kelley of Maryville, MO; a sister Jeanette Gustin of Des Monies IA; a brother Richard (Linda) Gustin of Troy, MT; five grandchildren Dwain (Dana) Speaker, David Speaker, James (Alyssa) Speaker, Amanda (Anthony) Snow, Leta Stickleman and 11 Great Grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents.
