Rita Gupton Obituary
Rita was born on November 17, 1958 to the late Raymond and Edna Dickerson Murray.
Rita is survived by her husband, Stephen Michael Gupton Sr.; her children, Stephen Gupton Jr. (Jamie) and Stephanie Aycock (Jonathan); her five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Damon, Jordan, Meaghan, and Madison; and her brother, Kenny Murray (Emily).
Rita was a loving wife and a dedicated mother and grandmother. She enjoyed caring for others, and was always willing to speak up on their behalf. Rita loved to go camping and watching John Wayne movies. Rita was also a good cook, and if you were lucky enough to have had her chicken and dumplings,you are sure to agree.
Services will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11am, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Henderson, NC.
