Rita Krukowski (born Rita Cyganowski on May 3, 1931), passed peacefully at her home in Richmond, CA, with family on September 9, 2025, at the age of 94.
Rita survives by her daughters, Linda Jauregui and Theresa Mattocks; her grandchildren, Paul and April Dilbeck, Christie Dilbeck and Scott Parker, Angela Mattocks, David and Cathy Dilbeck, Amanda Mattocks, and Jennifer and Kris Boyd; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her beloved husband, Andrew Krukowski; her sister, Mary Frankiewicz; her brother, Michael Cyganowski; and her son-in-law, Nick Jauregui.
Rita's life was filled with love for her family, giving to charity, and a good pound cake. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Services will be on Wednesday September 17, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery - 1639 169th St, Hammond, IN 46324.
Gravesite Visitation – from 11:30 am to 12 pm, services to begin at 12 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Rita's favorite two charities St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA. Please leave condolences at www.burnskish.com, (219-836-5000).
