Rita Marlowe

Rita Perry Marlowe, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, AL died January 31, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Sardis Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Lucas and Bro. Earl Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward Marlowe and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Coyner (Andrew); sons, Joseph Marlowe (Amanda) and Christopher Marlowe; sister, Dell Ashley; brothers, Michael Perry (Delaine) and Louis Stull (Sherlaine); seven grandchildren, Megan Ellenburg Reid (Justin), Aiden Riley Marlowe, Brooke Ellenburg, Isabelle Marlowe, Laci Marlowe, Bristol Coyner and Mackenzie Coyner; one great-grandchild, Melanie Reid and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rita was born September 3, 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late John Perry and Rita Wedebrand Perry.
Pallbearers will be Justin Reid, Aaron McGee, Devon Hathcock, Andrew Coyner, Troy McGee and Ray DeWoody.
Honorary Pallbearers are nurses and staff of ACG Hospice.
