I first met Rita over 30 years ago at ComedHMO (now Cigna) where we worked in Customer Service. It was here where she met Ken. I still remember how nervous he was to ask her out on a date. They were so cute together! My daughter and I were both in their wedding. Rita was my best friend but I consider her my sister. So many great memories over the years. I´ll never forget her beautiful smile, her laughter and her feisty spirit. My grandsons used to love the amazing chocolate chip cookies she brought to our house when visiting. One of my favorite memories was seeing Pat Matheny in concert together and also going to NYC with her and Max when he tried out for American Idol. we had so much fun that day! Our entire family loved Rita dearly and she was a regular fixture at family events. Rita loved her family and friends deeply and was so proud of her baby boy Max and darling daughter Rachel. Our hearts are broken but through faith we know she is in Heaven with her beloved parents and our Lord Jesus Christ. Fly high sweet angel!! Love you always...
