Rita Veronica Nepal

Rita Veronica Nepal, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 11, 2024, at the age of 87.
Rita Veronica Nepal was born in Berbice, Guyana on October 24, 1936. She was the last surviving member of her siblings. Her late siblings were Violet Rampersaud, Romeo Rampersaud, and Mayleen Rajcoomar. Her brother in law isRonald Rajcoomar and sister in law Stella Rampersaud. She was wife to Dookie Nepal also known as "Baige" and had four wonderful children, Sandra, Carl, Errol, and the late Cindy. Her son in law is David Lawrence and her two daughter in laws Bibi and Pinky. Rita has four grandchildren, Candace, Carissa, Lydia, and Cheyenne.
When she came to America, she was the queen of the house. Her husband took great care of her along with her son, Carl and daughter in law, Bibi. She loved to read the book of Psalm, sing hymns, and tell her granddaughters how beautiful they are; she was proud of them. We take great comfort in the eternal promises and we have great confidence knowing she is present with the Lord. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Corinthians KJV
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita's memory can be made to Calvary Hospital.
The family will be present on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 from 5-9 PM at Ruggiero & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services- 732 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704 (914) 375-1400 www.FRSWFH.com. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, April 16th, 2024 at Ruggiero & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services- 732 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704 (914) 375-1400 www.FRSWFH.com. Following the Services, Rita will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Saw Mill River Road- Hastings-on-Hudson, New York 10706.
