Robbie Elaine Powers, age 67, of Frakes, Kentucky passed away August 12, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky and was the daughter of Betty Rae Ames.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Rae Ames, grandfather Arthur Jones, brother Dusty Ames, uncles Donnie Jones, Wayne Jones, and Alva Jones, aunt Faye Blevins.

Robbie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a hardworking woman, who spent much of her time sewing, canning, and baking delicious treats. She liked to be outside fishing and enjoying nature. She loved all animals, especially her goats and her dogs. She was not one to beat around the bush, if she had something to say she was very straightforward; you were never in doubt as to how she felt about something.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Parul Chaudhuri,the staff at the Baptist health oncology department and the staff at the Baptist health Infusion center.

She leaves behind her husband, Ben Blackburn, son Travis Powers, daughters Bree Powers, Shae Miracle (Tyler), Coy Bayless (Jake), Hagon Blackburn (Darren Partin), brothers Steve Jones, Dean Brown, brother-in-law J.R. Blackburn, grandchildren Ramie Reese, Aubryn Powers, Kamdyn Hatfield, Sophy Powers, Alvie Ray Miracle, Aurora Bayless, Kaulder Bayless, great-grandchild Carmen Brown, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Joann Blackburn, aunt Molly Jones, special fanily member Mydia Belcher and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Robbie Powers will receive friends Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
