Funeral services for Robby Lynn Baker, Sr. age 55 will be held 2:00pm Wednesday February 15 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Beck will officiate. Burial will be in the New Market Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Robby was born in Rockingham, N.C. a son of the late Robert Baker and Ramanda Ransom Baker. He worked with Duke Energy in Security. He was an Army Veteran and known to his grandchildren as DA. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Walters Baker, Hartsville; two sons, Robby Lynn (Sarah) Baker, Jr. Hartsville and Evan (Victoria) Baker, Lake City; one brother, Tracey Baker, Rockingham; one sister, Christy Baker Tompkins, Rockingham; sister and brother in law, Janice and Kelley Woodham, Hartsville; four grandchildren, Robby (Tripp) Baker, III, Blaire Aspen Baker, Beckett Rose Baker and Charlotte Rae Baker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Gaberiel Royce Baker.
