Robert L. Aaron, 87, of Butler, PA, passed away at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

He was born on March 18, 1938, in Butler, PA, to the late Joseph and Suebelle (Gough) Aaron.

Robert graduated from Butler high School in 1955. After graduating, Robert proudly served our country by enlisting in the United States Army, where he served for two years, earning the rank of Private First Class. He then went on to work for ARMCO as a Steel Processor for 36 years, before retiring in 1994. He was also a longtime member of Faith United Presbyterian Church. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, water skiing, hot rod cars, watching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams (especially the Penguins), his Maltese Joe, as well as spending time with his loving family.

Robert is survived by the mother of his children, Sally (Zarnick) Aaron; his daughter, Jody A. (James) Campbell; his son, Robert M. (Laurie) Aaron; as well as his three grandchildren, Austin Campbell, Devin Campbell, and Zachary Aaron.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Aaron.

As per the wishes of the family, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
