William "Bill" Garrison, 84, of Butler, PA, passed away on Sunday February 1, 2026 at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

He was born on April 18, 1941, in Connoquenessing, PA to the late Bruce Garrison and Freeda (Wilson) Garrison.

Bill was a graduate of Butler High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He spent many years working at Armco before retiring in 1999. Bill found simple joy in cutting grass and playing the slots.

He is survived by daughters, Joni (Kevin) Nocera of Ohio and Becky Kriess of Butler, PA; grandchildren, Tanya Nocera (Jason) Driggs, Kalsey (Brian) Swope, and Kolby Kriess; great grandchildren, Brinley, Blaine, Barrett, Eli, and Arlo; brother, Harrison (Edgar) Garrison, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Garrison whom he married December 19, 1959 and passed away on May 19, 2021; great grandson, Theo Driggs; sister, Nancy Gold, and son-in-law, Bob Kriess.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Thompson- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 P.M. at Thompson- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Keith Kozic.

Burial will be held at Greenlawn Burial Estates.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
