Robert W. Adams, 69, of Logansport, IN. passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 20, 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late William C. Adams and Phyllis A. (Schmaltz) Adams.
Robert graduated from Plainfield High School with the class of 1973. He was a wrestler on the Varsity team, a member of the tennis team, and played the trumpet in the marching band. He attended Ivy Tech College. Robert worked for Small Parts from June 1991 through April 2022 as an Electrical Discharge Machining Programmer. He was known for professionalism, loyalty, and great sense of humor.
Robert was an avid IU Basketball and Football fan and rarely missed a game. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends and grilling out. Robert was a private person, quick-witted, a great listener, known for being ready to help, and could fix almost anything.
Robert is survived by his siblings Karen S. Adams, Millicent Adams Cain, and Julia Adams Kenny (Christopher, brother in-law); nieces and nephews Justin Cain (Addy), Neil Cain, Matthew Cain, Tonya Kenny Dodez (Eric), Megan Kenny, and Dylan Kenny; stepmother Jane Pic Adams; stepsiblings Avery Swihart (Tim), Aubrey Pic, and Carolyn Pic; step nieces and nephews William McIntire, Cara McIntire, Timothy Swihart, Taylor Swihart and Daniel Pic.
He is preceded in death by his parents William C. Adams and Phyllis A. (Schmaltz) Adams, and stepsister Karin McIntire (Ken surviving spouse).
Robert's family would like to thank the following: Bob's friends that supported him throughout his illness by taking him to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, talking and remaining his steadfast friends.
