On February 25th 2025, Robert T. Alexander Sailed Into the Mystic at the age of 68. Supported and loved by his wife Cynthia Jo Alexander, his daughter Andrea Alexnader-Buck (husband Eric), son Robert Alexander (wife Maia), and daughter Jackie Jury. He was brought joy by his beautiful grandchildren Ella, Henry, Violet, Olive and Parker. He was brought comfort by his renegade furry companion, Charlie.
Born to Fredice (Cressy) and James Alexander on December 18th, 1956. He treasured his six wonderful siblings Jim, Bill, Janice (Wesley), Jack, Mary and Lorriane, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Creating a sense of community and family gave Bob great fulfillment in his life. Whether it was hosting “High Times’ on Cedarvillie Bay MI, playing his acoustic guitar at a campfire, or planning the infamous “Beach Bash” on Hutchinson Island, FL, he loved being able to cultivate opportunities for everyone to get together, connect, and have fun.
Holding incredible ambition, he raised two children as a car mechanic at Sesi Lincoln Mercury while also attending Eastern Michigan University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. He propelled himself through the ranks achieving the position of Chief Executive Officer for ALCOA Fujikura ltd and Executive Officer and Board Member for ALCOA, with great pride and accomplishment before retiring in 2007.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Steinway Piano 2700 E West Maple Road, Commerce Twp, Michigan 48390.
