Robert Alonzo Obituary
Born in Manhattan on March 25, 1967, he was the son of Frances Alonzo and the late Robert Alonzo. After graduating from high school, Robert began his career working for New York City Transit Authority and retired as a supervisor.
In addition to his loving wife Rosanne, he is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Fay and her husband, Nicholas Fay and Emily Alonzo; his grandchildren, Niko and Amelia Fay; his brother, Michael Alonzo; his sister, Deborah Alonzo; his niece, Jacqueline.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, February 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Burial of Robert's ashes will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill.
The family requests that memorial donations in memory of Robert be made to Lustgarten Foundation or PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).
