Robert Jerome Anderson, born in Madison, on December 24, 1935 to parents Melvin, and Leona. Passed on the 29th day of August 2025 at the age of 89 at his home in Grantsburg, WI.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, and the most wonderful woman who ever lived, Leola "June" Anderson; children, Kathy Munson, David Ceason, Bobbi Anderson and her partner Peter Berry II, and grandson, Barry Anderson.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Anderson; grandchildren, Andy, Krista, Joshua, Samantha, Daniel, Peter, Brittney, Zachary, Lee, Lynnaya, as well as a medium-sized herd of great grandchildren; son-in-law, Chuck Munson and daughter-in-law, Rochelle Ceason.

Robert "Bob" Anderson was a left handed thinker in a right handed world, and that led him to service in the US Navy, and down a road of various entrepreneurial ventures, from a pet shop on Franklyn Ave. in Minneapolis, to a hog farm in rural Sunrise Township, eventually founding a scrap metal recycling center that he ran in partnership with his daughter Rhonda for over thirty years. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the casino, auctions, and on trips around the nation with his family. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and longtime customers alike.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date.
