Robert (Bob) Antonellis, 58 years of age, passed away at his home in Newton, MA on Jan. 30, 2025. He was born on October 24, 1966, grew up in Newton, MA and lived in Waltham, MA for the past 30 years.
Bob was a gifted athlete in his youth. He went on to work in trades, ultimately becoming a Journeyman plumber. Bob was lucky enough to find his longtime partner, Linda Barrile, and her daughter Kristen who called Bob her dad.
Bob will be remembered by his family for his quick wit, love for his many nieces and nephews and his selfless caretaking of their mom, Eleanor, when her health began to decline.
Bob was predeceased by his parents James and Eleanor Antonellis; sisters, Marion and Jamie; and brother Anthony. Bob will be greatly missed by his partner Linda Barrile, daughter, Kristen and her husband Mike Doyle, grandkids Chloe and Ollie; his siblings, Janice O'Neil, Joseph and his wife Sonya, James and his wife Silvia, Richard (his twin), Michael and his wife Elizabeth. Bob was a loving uncle to Stephanie Baker, Jennifer, Domenic, Samantha, Nico and Danny Tambascia; goddaughter Jillian, Cayman and AJ Tubbs, Ashley, Tess, Sophie, Peter, Larisa, Joseph, Frederick, Alex and Chiara Antonellis and Jose and Estuardo Rodas. He is also survived by his Aunt Sally Thomas and Uncle Charles Coombs.
We will announce a date for a mass in Bob's honor at a later date.

I first met Bobby many years ago when he attended the plumbing program I coordinated at Newton North High School. My dear friend Janice (Bobby´s sister) and I worked together there for years and I have the pleasure of knowing the whole family. My deepest condolences go to the entire Antonellis family. Rest easy, Bobby. With love, Patty

The first memory I have of my Uncle Bobby was him picking me up as a child on my way out from my Nana´s home. Every time we would enter and leave, I remember the big smile on his face as he was always so happy to see his nephews and nieces. He would always walk us out the door and would hit us with a "See ya soon" every time. His smile still radiates within my memory today and the warmth he brought to my early childhood will forever carry on with me wherever I go. I´ll see you again one day Uncle Bob.
