Robert Dennis Archer

Robert Dennis Archer, (76), of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on March 29,
2023. Robert, fondly known as Bob, Cactus Bob or Pop, by friends and family, was born to James and Lois Archer in Glendale, California, on February 24, 1947.
To those who knew Bob, he was first and foremost, a dedicated friend and family man who would give the shirt off his back to help others. He was an Air Force veteran and a master of many trades and skills. He shared his knowledge, fatherly advice, and mechanical talents generously. Bob was a lover of all things motorsports, an accomplished outdoorsman, hiker, and an adventurer. All who knew Bob learned something from him, and he took great pride in sharing his expertise. He will be sorely missed by all of us who had the honor of knowing and loving him, but he will live on in our hearts forever. We love you, Pop. Enjoy your next adventure. You will forever be with us, and we are thankful for our time with you.
Bob is survived by his wife Brenda, and three children, Tim, Casey, Brian, and Brian's wife Stephanie. He has seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and another great-grandchild on the way. Also survived are brother, Richard, and sister Nancy. He was preceded in death by his brother, David, and sister, Sue.
