Mr. Robert “Arnie” Ryan, age 75, of the Berlin Community, formerly of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson County, TN passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Franklin, TN and was a son of the late William Robert Ryan and Mildred “Doll” Sanford Ryan. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and retired as a machinist for McCormick Machine & Automation in Franklin, TN. Ron was a graduate of Bethesda High School Class of 1970. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Ryan, a grandson, Andrew Ryan, and a great grandson, Michael Bentley Ryan.
Arnie loved riding horses and working with them. He has a passion for music, whether it was playing music with his band or listening to music. He was a very talented machinist and enjoyed creating custom machinery. He enjoyed western movies and drinking coffee with friends. Most of all, he loved his family, spending time with them, and supporting them in all of their activities.
Mr. Ryan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Regina Bennett Ryan of Lewisburg, TN; children, Stephanie Beard of the Berlin Community, Shelly Ware of Lewisburg, TN, Casey (Shawna) Ryan of Chapel Hill, TN; 7 grandchildren, Dakota, Jazz, Ricky, Britany, Carson, Joseph, Rabeth; several great grandchildren; sisters, Kittie Trice of Chapel Hill, TN, and Jackie Reed (Tony) Williams of College Grove, TN.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Fewell officiating. Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Kaleb Jett will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
