I just heard the news today and I am truly devastated. Rob truly made my weekly trips to Cisco a happy time. I always got a hug and some smart comment . He was the best and I know that every life that he touched will truly miss his light.

I remember working with Rob in the mornings when I was still in the Cafe. He would always help me get down my pallets in the mornings. I would stop and chat with him often about different topics. Every time he was in the room his smile lit up the place. Always positive always had something nice to say about people. He was an amazing person to work with and he will be missed. He would always greet me with a "Hay darling how's it going?" I would always reply I am doing alright. He was Costco family to us all. He was always there for me if I had a problem in the mornings made sure I got what I needed for Food court. And even took time out of his schedule to bring the pallets to the front for me he even helped me unload it all. I could go on about his kindness. He had such a big heart for everyone who knew him.

I don´t even know how to begin...I´m so heartbroken over the loss of such a wonderful kind soul. I don´t think there could have been a more genuine man. I´ve known you since middle school and worked with you when Costco was The Price Club in 1985. When I think of you all I can see is your huge smile and your laugh. You were such an amazing person and I am just devastated by your loss. My condolences to your family and friends. Save me a seat up there in heaven and I´ll see you when I get there. I love you so much Robbie. This one hurts really bad...

What a sweet and kind man. Known you since high school and working together at good old McDonalds. I would stand in a longer line at Costco just so we could catch up and on Sundays we had our Redskin Jerseys on! To the family, I am so very sorry for this loss.
Rob, You will be missed and until we meet again.

I knew of Rob from attending Hermitage high school he graduated a year ahead of me but I didn't get to know him until I was hired on at Price Club Westmoreland in October of 1985. Rob was a stocker in the foods area and that's where I started. I thought I was the biggest Redskins fan till I met him. Rob became a wonderful friend and co worker. Countless social get togethers and football games through the years spent with him. He was one of the kindest easy going guys I've ever known. I will always remember my experiences with him and he will be sorely missed on this earth. God bless you my friend rest in peace.

As a regular Costco shopper, I interacted with Rob when he worked the register just after store opening. He was always smiling and friendly, and I'll never forget how he'd kindly compliment me on my salt and pepper hair whenever I came through his line. It was obvious that he was a genuinely nice person even just from the short conversations we shared at check-out. My son also worked as a stocker with Rob and was shocked to hear the news. The world has lost a wonderful person. My family and I are so sorry for your loss.

I´ve only known Rob since June (Costco) and in those 5 months it felt like I knew him for years. He was nice to me and gave me a few pointers about my job which I´ll never forget. Had a great time talking about BMW cars and life in general. He will be missed, glad I was able to know him

From the moment we first met December 1st 1981 at 4pm McDonald's on Staplesmill rd.
Where we worked together in High school. We became best friends and brothers. We shared many good time's and a few bad one's too. We never had a disagreement we couldn't fix with a simple apology. We always had each other's back where ever life took us. I'm sorry you had to go so soon. But this isn't goodbye. It's a see you later bro thing. I just wish you didn't have to leave us all so soon. R.I.P Brother.
I'll catch you later up in heaven. Love ya!

Rob was the most helpful person that has ever worked in Costco! Whenever I could catch him in the store to ask him a question he always knew the answer and told me where to go, took me to location, and told me to remember that Costco constantly moves their merchandise. He was just a delight to talk with and I express my condolences to his family. Dianne Pennell
