BERLIN-Today we mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Robert Michael Badeau was born on December 18th, 1967, to Lubiana and Victor Badeau.
Robert attended Saint Monica's Catholic School, Williamstown High School and graduated from Vermont Technical College with a degree in engineering. While at VTC, he especially excelled in math, even having an equation named after him. He was a hardworking individual who was very proud of the work he accomplished during his 30 plus year career with the Rock of Ages Cooperation. His extensive skills in the granite industry sent him on trips around the country and abroad which he enjoyed to the fullest.
During his free time, he enjoyed kayaking, camping, golfing, attending concerts, sky diving, watching football, enjoying a beer on his porch and traveling with the love of his life, Tracy. He had an innate ability to make people laugh with his unique sense of humor and contagious smile. Robert rocked so many people's lives by playing guitar in bands over the years from Safari to Two Token Joker. Robert was a member of Club 206 and the Barre Haunter's Guild where he shared his many talents. His generosity knew no bounds as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all his accomplishments Robert will be forever remembered for his immense love of his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife Tracy, children Alayna Moscova, her husband Denzel, Ryan Sawyer, his partner Kaitlyn, Hailey Hatch, her partner Nick, Jaylin Hatch, her partner Tyler, grandchildren Astra, Luna, Canaan, Mason, and Ciella as well as his parents Victor and Lubiana, brother Gianni, his wife Cindy, sister Tania, a nephew Garrett, nieces Autumn, Maddie and Kennedy, along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He is predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Robert will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through all those he touched with his kindness and love.
Calling hours will be held at Pruneau-Polli funeral home, 58 Summer St. in Barre on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Robert's life will be held at St Monica Catholic Church in Barre on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
The arrangements are in the care of Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre.

I first met Robert when we worked at Capital Candy together. We became friends, hung out and played hockey together. Robert was always laughing and having fun. No one could ever be in a bad mood around him. As was written about him, he had a contagious sense of humor and joy.

Tracy and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I didn´t know Robert other than what was shared by Tracy while we worked together this past year, but I know he was much loved. Please accept my sympathies. I am praying for you, dear friend, and for your loved ones.
