Robert S. Baden

Robert Scott "Bob" Baden, 52, of New Alexandria, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born May 22, 1970, in Jeannette, a son of Robert Karl and Norene (Guttendorf) Baden. Bob was the owner of Baden Construction and a member of St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree. He enjoyed hunting and was very skilled with carpentry. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Colleen (Dixon) Baden, of New Alexandria; sons, Tyler Baden and his fiancee, Mary Gravely, of Greensburg, and Nick Baden and Sami Duncan, of Lowber; siblings, Keith Baden, of Murrysville, Karen Lohr and husband, David, of Blairsville, Kevin Baden and wife, Suzy, of McKees Rocks; one grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cyril Guttendorf. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Father Justin Matro, O.S.B. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
