Obituary of Robert Lee Baker

Baker, Robert Lee Age 86. Born April 9, 1939 in Dubuque Iowa - Passed September 1, 2025 in Corcoran Minnesota.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Marcella Baker. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty; children, Julie (Bert) Vigen, Shelly (Darrin) Larson, and James (Tammy)Baker; siblings Phyllis (Don, deceased) Clay, Sandy (Charlie) Reed, Mary (Mike) Hurd, Linda Baker, and Steve (MaryAnn) Baker; grandchildren, Amanda LaDuke, Erika Vigen, Michael Vigen, Tyler Baker, Collin Larson, and Megan Larson; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Easton, Lincoln, and Annalise.

He spent his career working as a Store Manager at Woolworth's. After retirement he worked part-time at Sears in the tool department and also volunteered at North Memorial Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.

A special thank you goes to the staff at Saint Therese of Corcoran and Grace Hospice who cared for him in his final days.
